Mark Certonio

Mark is currently the Director of Events for DOLCE Events & Marketing, and Co-founder of the Key West Food and Wine Festival, WINEDINE KEYWEST & Southernmost Spirits Fest. In his role he is responsible for all aspects of producing these events.

Mark graduated from the University of Utah with a major in Architectural Engineering, then embarked on a career in the food and beverage/hospitality industry by joining the Marriott Corporation retiring after his 25 year career as Director of Catering at the New York Marriott Marquis in New York City.

He then moved to Brussels, Belgium and was the International Director of Sales for Meeting Matrix, a hospitality software company. He also taught at the Centre de Management Hôtelier International in Paris, France.

After moving back to Key West in 2002, Mark worked in two fine dining establishments as General Manager at Café Marquesa and Latitudes on Sunset Key.

He has volunteered, successfully producing the Taste of Key West & Vintners Dinner.

Mark is currently serving on the Board of Directors of The Old Island Restoration Fund. Dedicated to preserving the architectural & cultural heritage of Key West.

As a member of the Key West Business Guild, Mark served on the Board of Directors, and is a member of the Key West Chamber of Commerce and American Institute of Wine & Food-South Florida Chapter.

His hobbies are photography, travel, cycling, web site design and great food & wine.

Melinda Toppino

Melinda Toppino is currently the Director of Sales, Marketing and Public Relations for DOLCE Events & Marketing. 

Melinda grew up in Key West and her family has been in the Florida Keys since the 1920’s. She has extensive training and background in Marketing and P.R. and holds certifications in Project Management and Event Planning from the internationally recognized Project Management Institute and accredited by ICES. Melinda is Google Adwords Certified and is a Facebook Certified Digital Advertising Professional. 

Melinda has worked in the hospitality industry in the Florida Keys, South Beach, and Newport RI for over 20 years and has held positions in Sales, Marketing, Public Relations, Catering and Guest Relations at notable 4 star resorts like Noble House Resorts, the Moorings Village, Cheeca Lodge and Spa and the Newport Restaurant Group. 

While in Newport, RI Melinda worked in Marketing & Public Relations for Business Networking International and The Newport Group. 
A member of the Key West Business Guild and Chamber of Commerce, Melinda is active in the local business community, and volunteers her time to local charitable organizations. 
Melinda loves the experience of traveling and discovering new foods in out of the way places.
